JOHN MILTON TROTTER OBITUARY

DICKINSON - Mr. John Milton Trotter passed from this life Monday morning, September 5, 2022, in Dickinson.
Born April 11, 1940 in Gorman, Texas, Mr. Trotter had been a resident of Dickinson since 2021, previously of McKinney, TX. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. John graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington before beginning his career as a computer network engineer, working for Southwestern Bell/AT&T for 35 years. He was interested in Nasa, and anything space related and enjoyed learning about historical things, he also had a love for animals, especially cats.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Edward and Ruby Louise (Coleman) Trotter; brothers, Robert Edward Trotter, Hubby Trotter and sister, Virginia B. Harrison. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Laura (Holcomb) Trotter; son, John Matthew Trotter and wife, Georgina; daughter, Tascha Turnley and husband, Brad; brother, Melvin Wallace Trotter; grandchildren, Robert J. Blade Trotter, Caden Turnley, Cazzel Turnley, Dane Turnley; his fur babies, Owee, Ivan, Missy, Edith and Milo.
A memorial service will be 2:00 pm. Saturday, September 17, 2022, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501, with Reverend Paul Meiller officiating.
